i am orlando, or lando, or oats, or woodrow, or woody, or moon. i draw to make people happy. i write to make myself happy. i am currently learning french and arabic. in the future, i plan to learn chickasaw, czech, irish, polish, and russian. the goal isn't necessarily fluency, just being able to read about the things i like. send me an email if you would like to learn a language but cannot find textbooks/resources online.
i dm a curse of strahd campaign for dnd 5e, and i play in three other main ones: another curse of strahd campaign, a homebrew dnd campaign, and a homebrew symbaroum campaign. i will add details and art about those characters and stories here, or on my ocs page on tumblr which i will link when it is done. :]
the things that i like and find interesting are going to be obvious through the pages here, so keep an eye out for more as they are added. most of my interests are pretty traditional, i think: swords and armor that predate the widespread use of gunpowder, biology, world history, languages, music, and art. i'm dabbling with code because i like to know how the things around me work: where my food comes from, how the zoning committee got the authority to tell me i can't plant vegetables in my back yard, what every art material feels like -- why shouldn't this extend to the inner workings of where i spend a lot of my free time? i don't think i will ever be fluent with coding (i just don't have the time), but i will certainly be learning enough to have some fun.
